Santa on the Beach 2026 – We’re Coming to Maroubra, Rose Bay & Curl Curl!
We have some very exciting news to share for Christmas 2026! 🎅🌊🎄
After working with the local councils and securing the required licences and approvals for our beach photoshoots, Holiday Wave Photography is thrilled to officially bring Santa on the Beach to three beautiful Sydney locations this year: Maroubra, Rose Bay and Curl Curl!
Being able to photograph families on some of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches is something we never take for granted. Commercial photography in these public locations requires council approval, and we are incredibly excited to have everything in place to welcome families for another magical Christmas season.

Maroubra Beach
We are so happy to be returning to Maroubra after the wonderful response from families in previous years. With its beautiful open beach, golden sand and ocean backdrop, Maroubra is the perfect setting for relaxed and natural Christmas photos.

Rose Bay
We’re especially excited to bring Santa on the Beach to Rose Bay this year! This beautiful harbourside location gives families a different Sydney Christmas setting, combining the water, beach and relaxed Eastern Suburbs atmosphere.

Curl Curl Beach
And of course, we are delighted to bring our Santa beach sessions back to the Northern Beaches at beautiful Curl Curl. With its stunning coastline and laid-back beach atmosphere, it’s a location that perfectly captures what an Australian Christmas is all about.

Our Santa on the Beach sessions are designed to feel relaxed, fun and natural.
There are no shopping-centre queues or artificial winter backdrops. Instead, think bare feet in the sand, ocean views, Christmas decorations, lots of laughs and Santa enjoying summer by the beach.
